The objective of the fund is to provide significant long-term capital appreciation through a portfolio of superior Canadian equities that is sufficiently diversified to minimize investment risk. The Fund diversifies by market capitalization, sector and investment management style. The fund has three independent management teams, each with a distinctly different investment approach. Beutel, Goodman & Company, J. Zechner Associates and Putnam Investments each manage one-third of the assets of the portfolio.
